Rules

• Members should exhibit respectful and supportive behavior, both inside and outside of Pride.
• Do not come to Pride just to find people to spend “alone time” with.
• Give other members the benefit of the doubt (or, educate before yelling).
• Don’t ask transgender people what their names used to be.
• Politely ask people the proper pronoun; don’t guess.
• Treat all questions regarding orientation, gender identity, and neurodivergence as sensitive issues. Be careful not to out other people in public.
• Make no assumptions.
• LGBTQIA+ is not the only minority.
• Respect bisexual and asexual individuals, as well as allies.
• Avoid making other members feel uncomfortable.
• Let new people take it at their own pace.
• Nobody’s “Not gay enough.”
• Don’t take photos without permission from everyone in the frame. Respect other members’ privacy.
